Conde de Ourém

The brand ‘Conde de Ourém‘ (Count of Ourém) was created to honour the great noblemen who, bearing this title, have been part of the history of the nation, like Dom Nuno Álvares Pereira who was, among other titles, the 3rd Count of Ourém.

In the crypt of the ‘Sé Colegiada‘, in the historical zone of Ourém, we can find the tomb of D. Afonso, 4th Count of Ourém, symbol of great nobles presence in the land once called Auren.

To justify this heritage, this wine finds its essence in the Castelão grape variety (95%) which gives a precious fresh and fruity flavour and granted the registered designation of origin “Encostas d’Aire”.
